Bacalhau à Brás

Known for being one of the most esteemed dishes by everyone, it is common to see Bacalhau à Brás served in portuguese restaurants, but you can also easily do it at home.

Recipe for 4 persons:

Ingredients:

– 400 g soaked shredded cod

– 300 g potato chips straw

– 6 eggs

– 125 g sliced onion

– Parsley and black olives q.b. to decorate

– 25 ml olive oil

– Salt and pepper q.b.

Preparation:

1 – Soaked and shredded cod;

2 – In a pan, add the oil with the onion, let it sauté until golden;

3 – Add the cod and let it cook until it looks cooked;

4 – Rectify the seasonings and add the straw fries; gently wrap;

5 – In a bowl, beat the eggs and drizzle over the cod;

6 – Stir gently until the eggs are creamy;

7 – Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley;

8 – Serve garnished with olives.
