As the name implies, at Fogo Restaurante everything is cooked with wood. By the hands of chef Alexandre Silva, all elements are made with flame, fire or embers. In the open kitchen, the chefs show off their culinary skills in five different sections: wood oven, iron pots, robata (grill), bakery and pastry and cold meats/smoke. In addition to honoring traditional Portuguese cuisine, the restaurant also has a prominent focus on sustainability, whose practice focuses on choosing fresh products (fish and seafood are from the Lota de Peniche) and 100% Portuguese. The color black predominates, both on the walls and in the details of the restaurant's decoration, an excellent contrast with the waves of red from the lit fire. As an accessory, there are small wooden trunks on the shelves, as if it were winter, and ceiling lamps.
