Ribeira das Naus is one of the areas to visit for those travelling to the Portuguese capital. It was once an important shipyard for the construction of the Portuguese ships. Nowadays, it is a pleasant fluvial beach in the centre of the city, apart from having a garden area, right next to the river Tejo. Although it is forbidden to swim, Ribeira das Naus offers other attractions such as a kiosk and an esplanade, which promise to be the perfect place to watch the magnificent and stunning sunset of Lisbon.
