Praças e Jardins / Carnide

  • ©ecarnide-hypotheses-org - Quinta dos Azulejos

Its origins date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. This farm has already had several names, such as Mercador, quinta de Santa Martha, but from the middle of the 18th century, as the house, the gardens and the arch were covered with tiles, it became known as Quinta dos Azulejos. And it is the tiles from the 19th century, which mark its Rococo Baroque style, that are still today the great wealth of the garden of this farm.
