Queijadas Finas de Sintra
Pastries and Coffes / Baixa
It was the colorful tones of the Pena Palace, the shades of green that paint the natural park and the blue of the sky that shares the scenery with the eternal fog of the mountains, which brought Sintra to Lisbon, in a shop exclusively dedicated to the famous Queijadas, small pies which are still made from 5 ingredients: fresh cheese, sugar, eggs, flour and cinnamon, and wrapped in a thin and very crunchy dough.
In each package are wrapped the many stories of four generations of women dedicated to a family tradition with more than eight decades: the famous Queijadas Finas de Sintra by Eugénia de Jesus, born in 1903 and with a dream to fulfill: to take their Queijadas to the world.
