Palácio Pimenta, headquarters of the Lisbon Museum, has a long-term exhibition that shows visitors the evolution of the city, from the occupation of the territory during prehistory until the end of the 20th century. Alvalade

Through the streets of Alvalade, which seem to have been drawn with a ruler and square, a success story is written of a neighbourhood planned from scratch in the 1940s, but which knew how to grow and evolve into a diversified offer of facilities, schools, services and transport without losing its identity.
