With one of the entrances opposite the Estrela Basilica, the garden, renamed Jardim Guerra Junqueiro, receives thousands of visitors every day. Built in the style of English gardens, and of romantic inspiration, it features a children's playground, a pond with ducks and carp, as well as a café, making it a pleasant place for family games or quiet moments of leisure. In summer, its old gazebo is also the stage for concerts.
