With more than 300 shopping spaces, Colombo Shopping Centre has a variety of restaurants, cafés, clothes and fashion accessories shops, sports, technology, supermarket and cinema for all tastes and "wallets". Colombo also hosts several exhibitions, which explore the themes of art and culture.

The name of the centre is a tribute to Christopher Columbus, Italian navigator and explorer, responsible for being the great leader of the fleet that reached the American continent on 12th October 1942. Inside, we find references to the age of the discoveries, one of the most remarkable periods in the history of Portugal.

Besides shopping and leisure, the Colombo Shopping Centre Complex is also an important business centre, hosting in the Torres do Colombo building, offices of renowned national and international companies.

    Benfica and Sete Rios

The adjacent districts of Sete Rios and Benfica began to grow as an urban area during the 19th century, based on a rural area occupied mostly by farms and agricultural land. Since then, they have assumed the status of being two of the main residential areas of Lisbon, with a high concentration of services and activities of all kinds, but where the farms and palaces of other times still stand out, now with other uses.
