Fernando Pessoa is one of the most important modernist writers and poets of the Portuguese language. The house where he lived during the last 15 years of his life is located in the neighbourhood of Campo de Ourique, and is therefore a place to visit. Besides an exhibition about the legacy of the writer, Fernando Pessoa House has a free-access library with works not only by Pessoa, but also by other writers.
