Next to the Oceanarium and the Pavilhão do Conhecimento, is the Camões Theatre. With a modern architecture, where the glass facade overlooking the river stands out, it is an important cultural centre in Parque das Nações. Part of the grandiose Expo'98 project, it is today the responsibility of the National Ballet Company, which promotes and organises dance shows.

    Parque das Nações and Olivais

Developed on the site that was the stage for Expo'98, Parque das Nações that has quickly won over companies, hotels and residents who have surrendered to its qualities, is the most modern neighbourhood in the Portuguese capital. But this new area to the East of Lisbon is also a place of enjoyment for all outdoor sports enthusiasts, lovers of gardens and green parks and lovers of art, culture and entertainment, locals or visitors. In an area of 340 hectares - a third of which is occupied by green spaces - which stretches for five kilometres along the Tejo River, the Parque das Nações is a paradise for runners, cyclists, skaters and walkers who find here the ideal conditions for the practice of sports in a natural environment.
