Benamôr - Campo das Cebolas

Cosmetics and Perfumery / Baixa

Benamôr was founded in 1925, in Lisbon, by a mysterious apothecary who created miraculous ointments in his laboratory in Campo Grande 189. Her beauty recipes were prepared with unique perfumes and natural ingredients found in Portugal: lemon, rose, aloe vera or almond oil. Soon, her adorable Art Deco tubes were a hit among the most sophisticated beauties of Lisbon society, including Queen D. Amélia, who remained faithful to the brand throughout her life. Benamôr created some of the most iconic beauty recipes in Portugal, such as Crème de Rosto or the famous Alantoíne hand cream, and remains one of the most beloved beauty brands in Portugal to this day!
