Convento do Beato
Espaços Religiosos / Marvila e Beato
From monks' convent to industrial use and stage of important events, the history of the Beato Convent began to be written in the 16th century. Classified as "Heritage of Public Interest" in 1984, it has a strong historical component, particularly characterised by the emblematic arches of the cloister. Beato Convent is a unique and special place, which became internationally known for being the stage of the recording of the Scorpions' album Accoustica in 2001.
