A Vida Portuguesa was born from the journalist Catarina Portas' desire to make an inventory of the brands that have survived through time, the intention of revaluing the quality of Portuguese manufactured products and the desire to showcase Portugal in a surprising way.
Today there are 3 shops in Lisbon (Chiado, Intendente and Mercado da Ribeira) and an online shop that sells from Portugal to the world.

Chiado
It is considered to be one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Lisbon today, but the truth is that Chiado has never gone out of fashion. Its charm was well evidenced by great figures of the arts and literature in the 19th and 20th centuries, such as Eça de Queiroz and Fernando Pessoa, who used to frequent this area in a Lisbon of other times and referred to it in their works.
